Who we are

What we collect and why
- Name, email, company name, VAT number - to identify you, communicate about your order, and issue a correct invoice. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Uploaded design files (Gerbers, BOM, CPL/position files) - to manufacture and assemble your order. Where we fabricate the bare boards for you rather than assembling boards you supply, the files needed to produce them go to the board fabrication house that manufactures them. Beyond that, your designs are used only to produce your order: we do not resell, publish, or reuse them, and we pass them to nobody else. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Order details and component choices - to source parts, generate quotes, and fulfil your order. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) - for security and fraud prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who we share data with
Where we fabricate the bare boards for you, we send the design files needed to produce them to the board fabrication house that manufactures them. To price and source components we may share the necessary details with component distributors (TME, Mouser, or Digikey, depending on your chosen supplier) for pricing/stock lookups, and with Anthropic (Claude API) for matching ambiguous BOM part numbers to candidate manufacturer part numbers. We do not sell your data, and do not use it for advertising or marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records and uploaded files are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order, provide support for it, and meet our bookkeeping obligations under Danish law (typically 5 years for accounting records).
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing, and to data portability. Contact info@danishpcb.dk for any such request. You can also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
Cookies
We use one cookie, and only to make the site work. We use no analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking cookies, we set nothing across other websites, and we share no cookie data with anyone.

It is set the first time you load a page that contains a form, which includes the front page, whether
or not you go on to log in or place an order. It is marked HttpOnly (scripts cannot read
it) and SameSite=Lax (it is not sent when another site links into ours), and its contents
are cryptographically signed, so they cannot be altered in your browser.
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required under the Danish Cookie Order (Cookiebekendtgørelsen) - strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking this one will stop the order form, login and account pages from working, because the anti-forgery check cannot complete without it.
Other third-party requests
There are none. Every file this site needs - stylesheets, scripts, images and typefaces - is served from this domain, so loading a page contacts nobody but us. We embed no analytics, no advertising scripts, no social media widgets, no embedded maps or videos, and no tracking pixels of any kind.
Our typefaces were previously loaded from Google Fonts, which meant your browser fetched them from Google's servers and disclosed your IP address in the process. They are now hosted here instead, and nothing about your visit reaches Google.

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version always applies.
